It was 1908 when a group of women gathered in New York City to demand fair pay\, better working conditions\, and the right to vote. It’s over 100 years\, and the struggle continues. Their passion and selfless commitment to equality sparked similar events in other countries.\n\n\nMiindia.com annually celebrates this voice in collaboration with the most active women’s group in Michigan  – DIWA (Detroit Indian Women’s Association). Women’s stories and thought processes are showcased at this event. The women are not household names; however\, each made a mark in her way. The theme this year is #BreakTheBias. \n \n\nReserve Your Tickets Now! \nEvery year\, all ticket proceeds go toward the South Asian agency Mai Family Services\, which provides intervention and prevention support for individuals in abusive and violent situations.  \n Mark your calendars and show your support on March 8th (the day in history) to create a diverse\, equitable\, and inclusive world.
