Bharat-ji was not only one of the founding members of Mai Family Services, but one of its most dedicated supporters! He attended all board meetings, advisory committee meetings, events until very recently. During the last few months when he couldn’t attend due to ill health, he remained connected by calling and offering his support and suggestions. His guidance and mentorship was valued by all who work at MaiFS.
Even the most affluent, educated communities face problems such as domestic violence, alcoholism and so on. That’s why organizations such as Mai Family Services need to exist. Bharat-ji had the foresight and vision to start and nurture this organization. The true and real tribute to his memory for us is to continue the work at MaiFS.
